The following is the web version of an exhibition entitled "Fighting the Ghosts - the Legacy of Childhood Sexual Abuse". There are 20 images in total, presented in chronological order. This is also a timeline reflecting the various stages I went through in dealing with the abuse. It took me decades to hit the point where I was emotionally strong enough to deal with this particularly savage issue, and I hope that what I have expressed artistically might help others who have also suffered. I present this artwork in homage to the little girl inside of me who was so tragically harmed, and to all the other children like her.
