Still Some Garbage But It's Getting Better

2004 - Mixed Media - 18" x 22"

The golden background is broken with a rush of blue color flowing through it, like a stream of water washing away more and more garbage. There still is some junk around, demonstrated by the torn picture of my abusing grandfather. This time, it's HIS eyes that are covered up to negate him. A smiling picture of myself as a child is surrounded by gold and is emerging from a round shape symbolic of an ova, the starting place of life and my rebirth.
